I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel like other parents should know what to expect. This basketball program is for 4- and 5-year-olds, so I expected it to be focused on teaching the basics in a safe, positive environment. Instead, the practices are very unorganized, and there doesn’t seem to be much actual coaching. By game day, it’s obvious because many of the kids still aren’t being taught simple fundamentals like dribbling. What concerns me the most is that during games, kids are constantly hitting, pushing, and grabbing each other, and the referees never step in or call fouls. Even teammates are fighting each other for the ball without anyone correcting it. No one says anything it is insane. At this age, safety and learning should come first. After watching this program for over a year, I can’t recommend it. I’m basically paying for my child to get injured. It has potential, but in its current state, it’s disorganized, poorly managed, and not worth the money AT ALL, it’s clearly a money grab.

The water filters on first floor and second floor were in yellow asking for filter replacement more than two weeks ago, now it’s red and management couldn’t care less. Steam room went down for almost a month, manager blamed the vendor for taking longer than expected, zero sense of urgency or sense of duty. What a whole mess this has become to be, hard to believe this is one of the most expensive gyms in the area. I hope someday they start planning instead of reacting.

I don’t normally write reviews, but after the great experience I’ve had here, I felt it was worth sharing the advantages of being a member. I’ve been part of this athletic club for many years, and it has truly been a place where both my children and I have grown. My kids played basketball here as they were growing up, and it has always been a welcoming space for families in our community. The staff is phenomenal, and with Andrea’s guidance, the facility continues to thrive and serve our community in such a meaningful way. It’s not just a gym — it’s a place that offers something for everyone, whether you’re here to work out, play sports, or simply find a moment to relax and rejuvenate.

Like any great gym, it can get crowded at times, but the atmosphere is always welcoming and safe. It has brand new machines, private training room, and a wide variety of fitness classes. Plus, you have access to tennis, basketball, badminton, and pickleball courts. The locker room is top notch, with nice showers, a sauna, and a steam room to help you unwind after your workout!

This club has a nice footprint and a lot of nice features for avid tennis players. 6 clay courts and one with Stadium seating as well as 3 hard courts on the other side of the building. They also offer indoor PickleBall on the basketball courts with temporary nets. The tennis club needs a few million in renovations. I’d convert the hard courts into PickleBall as well and a few Padel courts. Also plenty of parking in the lot in the heart of downtown Miami Lakes as well as full fitness center and services.
